Newly rebuilt Baxter Building (Tuesday Filler)

In fantastic four #6 Doctor Doom launched the Baxter building into outer space. In another issue (or the same idk these comics are old) His adopted sun shot it into space and exploded it. I really hope this was the same event but would not be surprised if it happened twice.
Who knows how many times New York Has been destroyed. The Avengers, Iron Man, Nick Fury, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Dr. Strange, Fantastic Four, and Spider-Man all make their homes in New York city. All of this in the 616 universe. In a world where Superheroes are front page on the newspapers and blogs of every newsgroup people will have idols that wear tights and fly around the city. New York has the most super heroes in one place. So if one would want to catch a glimpse of a super hero New York would be a good place to move. Star(ling) city would not be a good place to go unless you feel like your liver doesn't have enough arrows in it. There are a lot of superheroes you don't really want to meet come to think of it.

Anyways. The normal person would notice how often New York comes under super villain attack. They would notice how often random shit gets blown up, thrown into space, converted into the borg, and they would think that maybe they should move. But in a world obsessed with superheroes they might just stay around to catch a glimpse of them. Maybe the MIB comes by and flashy-thingies everybody after every time Manhattan is destroyed.
Maybe they have several copies of New York shrunk down and stored away in a warehouse and they just use sciencey stuff replace it. I personally like this theory. You know what was a warehouse for a good while? The Baxter Building. To the left is a picture of some more geeky villains destroying one of the shrunken down copies of NY.

I do sometimes feel like the Fantastic Four has a bit of a God Complex thing to it. Franklin Richards (the son of Mr. Fantastic) created his own universe full of super heroes. Reed Richards is the sole* owner of dimension hopping technology that isn't ancient sentient frog statue based. Perhaps he uses his technology in ways that we don't know about. Pops over into, maybe, 1607 universe and shrink rays the city and pops it back up in our (616) universe. (not that our universe is 616 but you know what I meant) Shit it could be even worse than that. What if he is transporting all of the people that were murdered too. A million people murdered by Ultron and after everything is over Nick Fury just pops over to the super secret F4 Storage place and re-establishes most of earth 1625. Everybody. Nobody ever knows about Ultron destroying the earth except the heroes that survived. They would just wonder why Nick Fury was suddenly of a different Ethnic background. *I did not research whether or not Reed was the only one with a dimension portal thing stuff. Doom probably has one too.

Deadpool Killustrated #1 (of 4)
What if it was even worse than that. Maybe Reed and Fury can't have that kind of loose ends laying around. Perhaps SpOck and Hawkeye can't be trusted with knowing that the earth ended and somehow they fixed it. How do you tie up these loose ends? Hire a mercenary that is the best he is at what he does. Not wolverine. He has all these silly morals most of the time that make him the best at doing something else. When you want every super hero dead (that isn't already) you just call in the merc with the mouth. He might give you lip but as he has proved in both Deadpool Killustrated and probably Deadpool Vs. the Marvel Universe he can take out all the super heroes in apocalyptic fashion. I haven't gotten around to reading the later yet.

Who watches the Watchmen. Who Avenges the Avengers. Who X-Mens the.. X.... Men. IDK that doesn't pan out. But where is the check's and balances to shield. Who is to say the good guys aren't the bad guys depending on perspective. This isn't a new concept by any means.

I was going to finish writing this blog but then I watched Iron Man 3 instead. Fuck yeah science. I AIM to see Thor, Man of Steel, and the new Star Trek this year too. Weird ending. By folks.
Never compare my life to yours.
