Tuesday Filler, Cable

Double update to a post I haven't posted yet. The whole thing has turned into a bit of a fiasco with servers going down left and right. Comixology is the company that runs online comics for basically everybody who sells digital comics. They issued a letter to their customers explaining what is going on and telling us they are extending the event. Likely they are going to wait until Thursday if not the weekend so that nobody is interrupted in downloading their weekly comics. Tuesdays can be boring. So I am going try and have little filler rambles on Tuesday  However don't expect one every Tuesday  Sometimes there is nothing to ramble about. It would even be possible that I can end up being too busy to make 15 blog posts a week about absolutely nothing. Anyways. lets see how this goes. Ha. I just realized Tuesdays used to also be reaaaaly boring because in the morning MMOs go down for general maintenance.

Today I would like to ramble on about Cable.

Cable is also know as Nathan Summers. He was originally from the future where he was Scott Summers' kid. I think Jean Grey was his mother but on the other hand I don't know if they specifically mentioned it. Cable is pretty cool. He has telepathic powers and shit. Or at least that is what he started out with. He seems to have gained and lost a few things over time. He seems to have precognitive abilities now.( site picture) I assume he has some unnatural connection to the time stream seeing as he isn't even born now. However that works. +Kyle Beck would know better than I would.

Mostly I have been reading him in Cable and the X-Force. I like the way they have been writing him as a character. My complaint is his mother fucking hand. There is a regular hand under there. I mean I think he still has a cybernetic arm or some shit but it is kinda normal. But then he has this wierd giant gauntlet thing on. He has the gauntlet thing on alllll the time. I think it shoots missiles or something. Do you need missiles on you all the time. Is there a good reason that he can't take the thing off? It looks stupid. He looks like he should be arm wrestling Hellboy or something.

What hapened to all the cool things Cable could do. What happened to his wiggly beam lasers from mvc? You do your special attack and he had all sorts of crazy future weapons that he blasted you with. Now he just traded a future laser gun for a crappy looking bike so he could make it into mexico. You can jump through time but you have trouble getting across the border. Where is Nightcrawler when you need him. Nightcrawler is a cool guy. I am glad they are about to bring him back. Who do you think would win in a fight, Nightcrawler or Cable.
