Wow. I don't know if you have read Uncanny_Avengers_005_(2013) yet. If you haven't highlight that and push the google it button. Oh... are you on pirate bay now? Weird. Well while you are there might as well click the little magnet link. You know you have bit torrent. How else are you going to get those indie games and music that primarily distribute through torrents? Well Yeah. You can read it there if you want.
Rick Remender is the guy who writes Uncanny Avengers.
The comic is supposed to be covering the story of restoring the image of Alexs in the eyes of their fellow humans. There was lots of Nazi stuff in it. Red Skull took over a portion of city and killed Damien Wayne or something. Well some controversy has spawned from a page in most recent comic.
Left is one of the panels that people are in an uproar about. Shortly after comes the Alex's reference. This is covered more in the link I gave you yesterday. I am not throwing my hat in the ring on either side of the argument here. I'm not even sure how many sides this argument has. But there is the comic in question. It has caused uproar. Some people have not acted professionally and most don't review comics as a profession. Some people write comics as a profession They are entitled to a certain amount of emotional response when their work comes under criticism. Then there is just plain being a dick about it. Can you guess which road Remender took?
Sorry To screen cap the twitter post but these things can come down. I provided a link to the post in his name. https://twitter.com/Remender/status/317203160286507008 in case you are having trouble finding it. I am sorry, but that is the biggest lack of professionalism that I have seen. One day he is fighting for some sort of equality on paper then he opens his mouth and hatefulness flows out. Or maybe he enjoys golden showers from hobos or something and thinks this is a compliment. Doubtful. So yeah. I don't need to tell you what to think. I just wanted to share this post with you. Will update with apologies when they are forced. Or not. I'm fickle.
